This is the first track of mine that is not a remix in a long time. I get into the habit of remixes, because its so awesome to start with an element and expand on it. But this time I wanted to make an original production, not based off another song. BUT! The title is based off another song. The title is an homage to Marilyn Manson's "Get Your Gunn" (spelled with two "N's" because it was actually about a man, not a gun). This track is aggressive and sexy, so put it on the speakers or slide on some headphones and enjoy!

Almost 10 years ago I bought the album 'the Fragile' by Nine Inch Nails. When track 4 came around my jaw dropped. There was the most amazing distortion in the breakdown, I was officially a NIN fan. The album recently made its way back into the rotation and I realized this amazing track was begging to be made into Dubstep. Here it is for your previewing pleasure...

Here it is! Hot off the press! NOG and mylesAWAY's DUBSTEP remix of Buju Banton's "Wanna be Loved". It will be played for the first time live tonight (April 25, 2009) at the final BENZOUSE party! Those who were lucky enough to party there will be sad to see it go. It was a special moment in time that will be hard to repeat. So here is the track (for preview) for all of those who can't make it out tonight.

At heart, this is a remix/re-edit of the Vex'd track "Thunder". But there are elements of Bassnectar's "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" remix, Pogo's "Alice" remix and Glitchy and Scratchy's (feat. mylesAWAY) "Tokyo Tonight".

Super Disco! This remix is huge! The latest remix to be released by School Days (NOG&mylesAWAY) was dropped for the first time last weekend by NOG and Chilly before Boreta of the Glitch Mob! It blew up the dance floor! Its glitchy and oh so very heavy!! Have yourself a listen!

Alright, so as the setlist shows its not all "Bassline". But, who cares. Its pounding beats starting at 129 beats per minute and ending at 129 beats per minute. My sets are always tempo changers; I usually like to evolve the set from one genre to the next. Most start at breaks and end with Dubstep. But this is my first set that starts at a BPM and stays there the whole time (I'm always into trying new things). The only track to break up the straight pounding kick beat is Chase and Status': Running. This song fools you by starting as a super-cheesy electro song, but before you know it, it drops into a heavy dubstep beat. Slow dubstep, but dubstep never-the-less (and even slower because it's dropped to 129bpm). Enjoy!
Myles Away :: " In the past I never gave any credit to Top 40. I will be the first to admit it is 99% garbage. But every once in a while something good leaks through and it is worth giving a second listen. I like to dance between the mainstream and the underground. The mainstream is taboo to some, but when presented in the right way it can be a lot of fun. I like to breath new life into Top 40 tracks with either the song preceding it. or following it....or underneath it! The Mash-up! My sets are littered with live-mashups, but these are a few mash-ups that I recorded for others to enjoy on there own."

The first live set of myles AWAY to be released, it was the perfect way to end the night of February 14th. The Night was kicked off with some bangin Dance hall tracks with Dee Kay and the always intoxicating Tank Girl. Then we were all blown away by the intensely hype NOG and Chilly, who are opening up for Boreta, of the Glitch Mob @ the Dollhouse in Vancouver, on March 21, 2009. The night was brought to a close with myles AWAY's wonderfully pounding set of Breaks, Electro, and Dubstep! Its eclectic and never boring! Be sure to check it out!
